Medieval city and hanging gardens of Thuin

Description

A medieval city and hanging gardens made up of a succession of terraces on a rocky spur. A lower part of the town, where the river people’s district is located, with its typical Sambre riverside charm. An invitation to daydream! Take a stroll down the charming narrow cobblestone streets taking you on a journey into past and disconcerted by the contemporary art in which the city is steeped. Past and future a winning combination! These terraced gardens were developed over time as the ramparts were built. They offer walkers a varied trail dotted with a series of information panels.
