Description

The Saint-Pierre-et-Paul march unfolds its splendour in the streets of Florennes. The march consists of three companies: the Royal Companies "The Whites" which accompanies the statue of Saint-Pierre; the Royal Company "The Reds" which, since 1960, guards the statue of Saint-Paul and the Royal Company "The Little Walkers", created in 1954, proudly escorting the relic of Saint Peter. The eyes of the spectators will be amazed by the outfit of the 1500 soldiers wearing the uniforms of the first and second empire. Highlights: Saturday at 7pm: translation of the statues.Sunday at 8am: procession. Sunday at 6pm: the square battalion at the castle followed by the solemn return to the Collegiate Church.
