Description
Do you love flora and fauna? Let yourself be guided by the non-profit Foire Verte de Cerfontaine’s nature trail! Located on the banks of Lake Falemprise, this trail, where nature comes to life, invites you to discover 25 varieties of trees, including the Canadian poplar, the birch tree, which was mainly used for making clogs, the willow, etc. It is even said that some of these varieties come from the unused remains of the reforestation of the Eau d’Heure lakes. Don’t miss the bird observatory at the end of this nature trail with its breathtaking view of Lake Falemprise. See herons, swans and many other species of birds that nest there. With a bit of luck, you might even spot a pair of kingfishers by the river!
