Landelies climbing wall

Description

Formed from a former quarry, Landelies is divided into two distinct sectors: La Dalle du Fou and Le Sanctuaire.

The Dalle is undoubtedly the site’s main asset. Facing southwest, it rises between 30 and 35 metres high with an average inclination of around 70 degrees. Slightly concave, the rock is a solid, fairly white limestone, dotted with generous holds and marked by good cracks. Climbing here is fully outdoors, technical and mostly on small edges.

Le Sanctuaire is a wide bowl with vertical walls of about 30 metres high, featuring an attractive via ferrata with varied sections. Several climbing routes have also been developed, including a सुंदर cracked dihedral. It is also possible to open a few higher-grade routes without interfering with the via ferrata. During hot weather, when the slab becomes overheated, this area is ideal for climbing in cooler conditions.
