The Martinet site is a former colliery site whose shafts were kept in working order until 1979.

Recently, this site has been given a new lease of life. The hanging room of this former Charleroi colliery has been renovated and the site should continue to expand to become an important tourist attraction. Many walks are possible and you can discover the typical biodiversity of these environments.
