May 8 is World Donkey Day. On this occasion, animal protection organizations around the world are campaigning for donkeys: they inform about the nature of donkeys and mobilize so that they are kept in the best conditions. ASBL «Etats d'Ânes», whose objective is to make these animals better known in order to ensure them living conditions that are respectful and conform to animal welfare, takes the opportunity to organize the first edition of its «FESTIVAL ÂNES», day of animations and games aimed at strengthening your knowledge about these extraordinary animals in an interactive and playful way.

• 10:00: Opening of the site
• From 10:00 to the end: donkey bar and snacks (lunch and dinner)
• From 10:00. to 18:00: 
• Stands/creative workshops themed "Ânes"
• Games
• Raffle
• From 11:00 to 12:00: Literary Cabaret
• From 12:00 to 12:45: Musical entertainment "Martha and her accordion" 
• From 13:30 to 15:00: Musical entertainment: by the Child’s Soul
• At 15:30: Competition for the most beautiful braiding
• At 18:00 : Raffle of the jackpot
• From 19:00 to 20:30: Concert of the Archeo Blues Band with Geneviève Dartevelle – Professional harmonica player with the kind participation of Silvana Trovato.

Games: a fun trail dotted with skill games, quizzes, etc. themed "donkeys": participation according to 2 formulas:

• Free access: participation with no stake other than that of fun;
• Participation of 5 € (valid for up to 3 people) giving right to:
• a game booklet for families and a voucher to participate in the raffle of a jackpot at the end of the day;
• access to games;
• exclusive access to the mini-lectures "Des ânes et des Hommes" by a historian from the Ecomusée du Viroin (see schedule on site);
• exclusive access to the "Jean de La Fontaine & les ânes" area: space dedicated to Jean de La Fontaine and the use of donkeys in his fables (see schedule on site).
